UK: Police close down first cannabis cafe

BRITAIN'S first Dutch-style cannabis cafe was closed
down yesterday after a scuffle between the owner, Colin
Davies, and police. Davies, a multiple sclerosis
sufferer who uses the drug to ease his symptoms, was
arrested shortly after opening his cafe - the Dutch
Experience - in Manchester. Davies was led away as
supporters chanted: "He's a healer, not a dealer."
Police later searched the premises and arrested several
other people for possessing the drug.
