UK: Drugs campaigner in court

A campaigner for the legalisation of drugs has appeared before magistrates
charged with drug offences.

Colin Davies, 44, of Romney Towers, Stockport, Greater Manchester, is
accused of importing cannabis and intending to supply the class B drug.

Mr Davies was granted unconditional bail by Stockport magistrates.

He was told he would appear at the same court again on 27 November for a
committal hearing.
