UK: Legalise cannabis campaigner accused of drug offences

Tuesday 25 Sep 2001 A legalise cannabis campaigner from Greater Manchester has appeared before magistrates charged with drug offences. Colin Davies is accused of importing cannabis and intending to supply the class B drug. The 44-year-old was granted unconditional bail by Stockport magistrates. Davies, of Romney Towers, Stockport, will appear at the same court again on November 27 for a committal hearing. Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
