Dance star Moby has admitted that he took drugs when he was just 10.
The US performer, whose album Play is the second biggest seller of the
year so far, regularly used cannabis and ecstasy pills before reaching
secondary school age.

Moby says he eventually cut down because he did not want to become an
addict at the age of 13. And the 35-year-old, who has become a
committed Christian and vegan, revealed he still smokes the occasional
joint of cannabis.

Moby - Richard Melville Hall - said: "I started taking drugs when I
was 10 and did them for a couple of years. It was cannabis and pills
mostly."

Moby's Play, which has sold 1.28 million copies, was overtaken by The
Beatles' 1 at the weekend as the year's biggest album.
