Cannabis case must wait Andy McSmith Guardian Friday 17 Nov 2000 A judge ruled yesterday that a Rastafarian charged with supplying cannabis must wait until December to learn if he can have his case reconsidered under the new Human Rights Act. Rasta Brown, 39, claims he is entitled to sell and smoke marijuana because it is part of Rastafarianism, which has protection under the new act.
