Three in court after ú20m cannabis seizure Steve Connor Ananova Saturday 14 Oct 2000 Three men have appeared in court after customs officers seized £20 million worth of cannabis on board a yacht in Cornwall. Around six tonnes of the drug were recovered during the Customs and Excise off-shore swoop near St Mawes. A team of officials boarded the vessel and escorted it and its crew into Falmouth on Friday. John Moore, Stephen Needham and Peter Craig, all from the UK, were charged with importing drugs into the country. They were remanded in custody and are due to appear in court again on Thursday.
