New cannabis drink launches in Germany

A new cannabis drink is being released in Germany.

The cider-flavoured beverage contains an added cannabis extract.

But manufacturers promise it won't get drinkers high.

Manufacturer of the cannabis drink, Manfred Memmert, say the drink is
not strong enough to get drinkers stoned and the added ingredient will
just make it taste nice.

Mr Memmert said: "The ingredient just gives the drink a nice taste, our
latest product has a fruity, flowery and grassy flavour and the
aftertaste lasts a long time."

It is being marketed at disco-goers and night clubbers.
