UK: Cannabis cafe raid

POLICE arrested 12 people yesterday in a raid on a cannabis cafe in
Stockport run by a well-known campaigner for the drug's legalisation.

Uniformed officers recovered a large quantity of cash and drugs from the
Dutch Experience cafe, run by Colin Davies, 44. The raid took place as he
was being interviewed by the BBC about why the authorities seemed to be
tolerating his activities. He has long campaigned for cannabis to be
available to the sick and disabled.
