UK Drug dog nabs kids at lecture

---

SNIFFER dog Bonnie went to a school for a drugs lecture - and nabbed
four pupils with cannabis.

The two-year-old German short-haired pointer smelled the drug as the
Year 12 students filed out after the talk.

Her handler told head David Humphries and he let the dog search a locker
room where she sniffed four suspect "stashes".

Four boys were arrested. Two aged 15 and a 16-year-old were reprimanded
by police - a lesser sanction than a formal warning - after admitting
having the drug. A 15-year-old may be prosecuted.

The four are due back at Ilfracombe School and Community College in
Devon soon after being suspended. Mr Humphries said: "This has been a
shock for their parents."
