Civic leaders are trying to find out more about plans for a cannabis cafe
in Trowbridge.

A website has suggested that a Dutch-style venue will open in the town once
the Government has completed the reclassification of the drug.

It is understood that two possible premises have been considered for the
venture, which is being mooted after the opening of a similar cafe in
Bournemouth.

Police say that even when cannabis is downgraded from a class B to a class
C drug, possession of the drug will still be illegal.
