Billy Rogers said he intends to open a political consulting business in Las Vegas next month. Rogers, 40, has been working for the Washington, D.C.-based Marijuana Policy Project, the organization behind the now-defunct Nevadans for Responsible Law Enforcement. The Nevada group mounted a $1.8 million drive to pass Question 9 in November. The measure failed 61 percent to 39 percent. Rogers is a Texas native and former Democratic political consultant. He told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he doesn't expect to do any lobbying in Carson City in the upcoming Nevada legislative session. He also said he doubts there'll be another drive to legalize marijuana in Nevada. - --- MAP posted-by: Josh
