A CHEF accused of running a dope cafe bought 28,050 packets of king-size
cigarette papers from a cash and carry, Inner London Crown Court heard.
Errol Anderson, 47, was caught with hundreds of pounds of cannabis under
the floorboards of The Green Leaf in Stock-well after a raid in 2002, the
court heard. Anderson is accused of pocketing hundreds of thousands of
pounds selling the drug from the Landor Road premises. Yesterday, a till
worker from Booker Cash and Carry in Wimbledon confirmed that between
November 2001 and January 2003, Anderson bought 28,050 packets of cigarette
papers.

Estate agent Gassell Gordon, 55, allegedly helped Anderson and his wife,
Audriana Witter, 49, hide the proceeds of drug sales through property.

Gordon, of Canonbury Road, Forest Hill, denies one charge of conspiring to
contravene the drug trafficking act.

Anderson and Witter, both of Ribblesdale Road, Streatham, deny one charge
of conspiring to contravene the drug trafficking act.

Witter denies a further eight charges of concealing or transferring the
proceeds of drug trafficking.

Anderson further denies 10 charges of concealing or transferring the
proceeds of drug trafficking, three charges of possessing a class-B drug
with intent and one charge of permitting premises to be used for the supply
of a class-B drug.
